SWINE FLU - CONTINGENCY PLAN!

It is important that if there is a diagnosis of Swine Flu within the School Community
that the School Office are made aware at the earliest possible opportunity.
Please remind your child about simple hygienic rules - handwashing/sneezing
into tissues, etc. Antiseptic gel is provided at school.
The clear advice from NHS is that there is no need for staff or pupils to stay away from school,
even if they have visited Mexico, as long as they remain well.
However, if they develop flu like symptoms then they should contact their GP by telephone
or seek advice from NHS Direct. In the meantime, please
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD INTO SCHOOL IF THEY ARE ILL.

Useful information for parents available from:

In the event of School Closure, the SNOWLINE will be used.
Please ensure that your details are up-to-date with the School Office.
